Canonchet Farm is open daily, sunrise to sunset, year-round. Free admission. All trails are accessible from three parking areas in Narragansett.

Trails: 1.5+ miles, mostly flat, some boardwalks
Dogs: Welcome on leash
Bikes: Not permitted on trails
What to Bring
- Comfortable walking shoes (boots after rain)
- Water bottle
- Binoculars for birding
- Camera or smartphone
- Bug spray in summer
- Trail map (download from our Trails page)
- Tick awareness — check yourself after visiting
Good to Know
- Trails may be muddy near Crooked Brook
- No restroom facilities on trails
- South County Museum has seasonal hours
- Cell coverage may be spotty on the trail
- Hunting is not permitted
- Leave no trace — carry out what you carry in

Main trailhead. Best for Geology Trail and mid-trail access.

North trailhead. Start of the History Trail heading south.

South trailhead. Near Beech Grove and Pettaquamscutt Cove.
From North (I-95 South)
- Take RI-4 South to US-1 South
- Follow US-1 South to RI-108 (Narragansett)
- Turn left onto Boston Neck Road (RI-1A South)
- South County Museum (115 Strathmore St) on right
From South (I-95 North)
- Take RI-138 East toward Narragansett
- Merge onto US-1 North
- Take RI-108 exit toward Narragansett
- Turn right onto Boston Neck Road (RI-1A South)
- South County Museum (115 Strathmore St) on right
